He is the chairman of Hachimitsu Private Academy. Unlike the underground student council, faculty, and the school management, who are conservative about the school's traditional laws, he is more liberal and open minded about the idea of the school admitting boys; however, his ideas often put him into conflict with his daughter Mari who is the president of the underground student council.
